As a first-generation American, I hold a special understanding of the push-pull between honoring cultural roots and navigating new paths. My practice is inspired by the Madrona tree—known for its resilience, drought tolerance, and beautifully unique shapes as it grows toward the light—I believe healing is about honoring your roots while embracing your own natural, adaptive way forward.
